33 11 271 Replacing Rear Cover Gasket On Rear Differential

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Drain and catch or draw off rear differential oil . See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL .
Remove rear differential

NOTE: Read and comply with 33 10 ... REAR DIFFERENTIAL: ASSIGNMENT TO MODEL SERIES .

Select rear differential:

After installation:

Add rear differential oil . See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL .
