52 24 311 Removing And Installing/Replacing Lock For Left Or Right Rear Seat Backrest

NOTE:

Perform emergency actuation for rear seat backrest (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 52 24 REAR SEAT (NORMAL), MANUAL .

Remove backrest and set down forwards.

Remove lock (1) completely from installation opening.

Display bridge (1) can be pressed out of lock during emergency actuation.

Remove display bridge (1) from lock.

Display bridge (1) does not have to be reinstalled.

Installation: 

Slide guide lug (1) of lock into opening (2).

Adjusting lock: 

IMPORTANT:

Check backrest lock without fail.
