33 11 271 Replacing Rear Cover Gasket On Rear Differential

IMPORTANT:
In event of oil loss, always check rear differential for traces of wear and damage.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Draw off or drain and catch rear differential oil
- Remove rear differential
NOTE:
Read and comply with document "Rear differential: Assignment to model series ".
Select rear differential:
- 188K
- 188L / 188LW
- 215K
- 215 with lock
After installation:
- Add rear differential oil
