51 71 482 Removing And Installing / Replacing Left Or Right Tension Strut (On Rear Axle) (M5, M6)

IMPORTANT: Observe safety instructions  for raising the vehicle
Do not drive vehicle without  tension strut installed; failure to comply with this instruction will result in damage to the body!

Release screws (1 and 2).

Remove tension strut (3).

Installation: 

Replace screws.

Tighten to specified torque. See 51 61 3AZ in 51 61 REINFORCEMENT, BODY .
