11 22 500 Removing And Installing/Replacing Flywheel (S85)

Special tools required:
- 11 4 180
- 11 9 260
- 11 9 265
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove transmission. See REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION (M5) or REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION (M6) .
- Remove clutch. See REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CLUTCH (M5) or REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CLUTCH (M6) .
Secure flywheel with special tools 11 9 265 and 11 9 260.
Release flywheel screws with special tool 11 4 180.
Installation:
Fit new flywheel screws.
Tightening torque 11 22 1AZ. See ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Assemble engine.
