Removal & Installation

Move driver or passenger seat to maximum forward position. On left and right rear storage compartments, open lid of storage compartment in direction of arrow. See Fig 1 . Unlock frame and remove. See Fig 2 . Disconnect plug connection. On right rear storage compartment, lift off cover in direction of arrow. See Fig 3 . Unclip retaining bracket and remove. Unlock frame and raise upward. See Fig 4 . Unclip retaining bracket and remove. Remove frame. Feed out emergency unlocking mechanism for luggage compartment lid. See Fig 5 . On left and right rear storage compartment, loosen screws. Lift out storage compartment in direction of arrow. See Fig 6 . To install, reverse removal procedure. Feed journal into openings. See Fig 7 .
