Removal & Installation (Right)

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Remove 4 screws and lower instrument panel trim panel at bottom right. Disconnect footwell light and remove trim panel.
Remove 6 screws and pull glove box toward rear until Bowden cable is accessible. See Fig 2 . Pry out lock and detach Bowden cable and nipple. Disconnect knee air bag module harness connector. Disconnect glove box light connector. Remove glove box with knee air bag module.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
