Repair procedures (plant/service)

Visual inspection of spark plugs, ignition coils, if OK switch positions -> If defect moves with parts, replace defective components, check ignition cables, wiring harness; check injector valve, fuel system incl. high-pressure pump (fuel level ?) Visual inspection of catalytic system for damage (unusual colors on catalytic converter casing, check monolithic structure with endoscope). Fault code entries triggered by faults in Valvetronic system. Valvetrain - HVA - Check elements for damage (broken springs, mechanical damage). Check compression (with max. stroke). After running all checks with no defects detected, replace DME-SG.
