1.15.23 Diagnosis of Powertrain CAN A and CAN C

P3200 (CANAmax), P3201 (CANAmin), P3202 (CANAsig)

The diagnosis of the powertrain CAN A and CAN C data bus consists of several checks with their own fault codes.

If, during initialization of the CAN data bus, the CAN controller reports a CAN A or a CAN C initialization failure, a malfunction is detected and a CANAmin fault will be set.

If, after initialization of the CAN data bus, the CAN controller reports a CAN A or a CAN C failure for a calibrated period of time, a malfunction is detected and a CANAmax fault will be set.

If, after initialization of the CAN data bus, the CAN controller reports a CAN A or a CAN C bus-off state for a calibrated period of time, a malfunction is detected and a CANAsig fault will be set.
