1.15.20 Diagnosis of CAN-Messages

U0155 (CX5E0)

The CAN-messages diagnosis consists of several checks with their own fault codes.

The PWML2 CAN message check (battery voltage) counts the number of "PWML2 message" states.

If the time-out-counter for the PWML2 message exceeds a calibrated threshold, a signal fault X3B4sig will be set.

The CAN "OBD sensor available" message continuously monitors the CAN-messages for ambient temperature, mileage and instrument panel status for timeout. A rationality fault X5EOnpl will be set, if the CAN message "OBD sensor available" is missing for a calibrated period of time and a malfunction is detected.
