51 21 280 Removing and installing or replacing door stop on left or right front door

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Close door windows
• Remove SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT AREA ONLY 

Lever out seal (1).

Unfasten screws (2 and 3).

Installation: 

Tightening torque:

1. (2) See 9AZ in 51 21 FRONT DOOR LOCKS
2. (3) See 10AZ in 51 21 FRONT DOOR LOCKS

Remove door brake (1) via cutout (2).

Installation: 

Following parts of door retainer (3) must not be damaged:

1. Hinge
2. Thread

Installation: 

Seal (1) must not be damaged.
