64 22 138 Removing and installing/replacing right fresh-air grille

Special tools required: 

• 64 1 020  . See HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - SPECIAL TOOLS .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove decorative strip on instrument panel on right  . See 51 45 380 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) RIGHT DECORATIVE STRIP ON INSTRUMENT PANEL .

Lever out catches (1) with special tool 64 1 020  and unclip right fresh-air grill (2) from decorative strip on instrument panel on right (3).
