51 34 171 Replacing rear left or right door window
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Open door window to 345 mm.
- Remove sound insulation in rear door
- Remove outer window cavity cover strip
- Remove cover on door window frame
- Remove trim on rear door window frame
- Remove rubber guide for rear door window glass
Open door window glass (1) down to distance (A)
A = approx. 345 mm
Release screw (2).
Tightening torque 51 35 3AZ . See 35 REAR ELECTRICALLY OPERATED WINDOWS .
IMPORTANT:
Danger of locking in position!
Disconnect plug connection (1) at power window motor (2).
Disconnect plug connection (1) at power window motor (2).
Feed out door window glass (1) towards top rear.
Installation:
Door window glass (1) does not need to be adjusted.
NOTE:
Carry out function check (one-touch function, anti-trapping protection and, if necessary, comfort function).
