65 77 770 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Rollover Controller

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD (Coupe).
Remove backrest for rear seat.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2) and remove rollover controller (3).

Installation:

Replace screws (2).

Tightening torque, see 65 77 7AZ in 65 77 AIRBAG TRIGGERING CONTROL .

Replacement:

Release screws (1) and remove rollover controller (2) from holder (3).

Installation:

Replace screws (1).

Tightening torque, see 65 77 8AZ in 65 77 AIRBAG TRIGGERING CONTROL .
