51 71 039 Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Left Or Right Wheel Arch Cover (Rear Section)

NOTE: Prior to removing, pay attention to the exact installation position with respect to the adjoining components.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Work shown on the E87 by way of example, deviations in detail are possible in other models.

Release screws (1).

Release expander rivets (2).

Unscrew nuts (3).

Carefully feed out wheel arch cover (4) towards bottom.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty expander rivets (2).

Ensure wheel arch cover (4) is correctly seated.
