61 67 045 Removing And Installing/Replacing Spray Nozzles For Left Or Right Headlight Cleaning System

Special Tools Required 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

To prevent excessive escape of washer fluid, seal off end of high-pressure line with special tool 13 3 010. 

Catch any escaping washer fluid if necessary.

NOTE: Bumper trim shown removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock plug connection for spray nozzle of headlight washer system and detach high-pressure line from spray nozzle of headlight washer system.

Press retaining lug (1) in direction of arrow and feed spray nozzle of headlight washer system outwards out of bumper trim (2).

Installation: 

Keep plug connection for spray nozzle and high-pressure line clean and free from grease.

Make sure high-pressure line is correctly seated on spray nozzle and spray nozzle is correctly engaged on bumper trim.

If necessary, top up washer fluid.

Replacement: 

Remove base (4) from spray nozzle (5).

Unclip trim (1) from spray nozzle (5).

Installation: 

Catches (2) on trim (1) and catches (3) on spray nozzle (5) must not be damaged or missing.

Make sure liner (4) is correctly seated on spray nozzle (5).
