Partially fit special tool 00 9 340 as illustrated.
Lever out center fresh-air grille (1) at mounting points (2) and fold back.
Disconnect associated plug connection and remove center fresh-air grille (1).
Replacement:
Remove switch for hazard warning system/central locking . Refer to 61 31 079 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SWITCH FOR HAZARD WARNING FLASHERS/CENTRAL LOCKING .
