37 14 512 Replacing Rear Ride-Height Sensor

NOTE: Jointed rod to camber arm holder.

Release nut (1) and disconnect jointed rod (2).

Installation:

Tightening torque, see 37 14 3AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Release bolt (4) and remove ride-height sensor with bracket.

Installation:

Align bracket to corresponding bore hole (arrow) in rear axle carrier.

Tightening torque, see 37 14 2AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .

Replacement:

Release screws (1) and remove ride-height sensor from bracket (2).

Installation:

Sensor lever (3) must point from ride-height sensor in direction of screw fastening point (arrow) of bracket.

Tightening torque, see 37 14 1AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .

After installation:

Check headlight adjustment , correct if necessary. Refer to 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS .
