32 33 000 Removing and installing / replacing steering wheel

NOTE: Wheel/chassis alignment is not necessary after the steering wheel has been removed and installed or replaced.

Necessary preliminary tasks: Remove airbag unit

Move wheels/steering wheel into straight-ahead position. Release screw and remove steering wheel.

Installation: Align steering wheel using markings (1) to steering column and attach. Make sure connecting lead(s) is/are correctly laid. Tightening torque, see 32 33 1AZ in 32 33 STEERING WHEEL .
