25 11 211 Replacing Shift Arm For Shift-Lever Mount

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Lever out spring (1) with a screwdriver from lug (2) on housing.

Tilt spring upwards.

Remove bearing pin (1).

Remove shift arm.

Installation: 

Grease bearing pins (1).

Detach support bearing  (1) from shift arm. See 25 11 245 REPLACING SHIFT ARM SUPPORT BEARING .

Installation: 

Grease bearing pin of shift arm.

Fit support bearing (1) with opening (3) towards rear top on new shift arm.

Replace damaged bearing sleeve  (1). See 25 11 235 REPLACING BEARING BUSHES FOR SHIFT ARM .
