51 61... Removing And Installing/Replacing Protective Skid

IMPORTANT:

Observe safety instructions for raising the vehicle. See 00...... LIFTING VEHICLE WITH A LIFTING PLATFORM .

Driving without the protective skid is not permitted!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1) and remove protective skid (2).

Installation:

Replace all screws.

Tightening torque, see 51 71 12AZ in 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS .
