51 16 365 Removing And Installing/Replacing Glovebox Lid: Notes

WARNING:

Read and comply with safety regulations for handling airbag modules and pyrotechnical belt pretensioners.

Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1).

Remove hinge (2).

Open glovebox cover (1).

Unclip damper (2) on glovebox cover (1) towards rear.

Press in clips (3) and remove glovebox cover (1).

If necessary, unlock and disconnect plug connection on airbag module .
