Telematic Control Unit (US): E60, E61, E63, E64, E90

Installation location 

> E60  The Telematic Control Unit (TCU) is located on the left-hand side of the luggage compartment, on the wheel arch.

> E63, E64  The Telematic Control Unit (TCU) is located on the partition wall behind the left-hand rear seat.

> E61, E90, E91  The Telematic Control Unit (TCU) is located on the floor panel in the luggage compartment.

The illustration shows the E90. The TCU is fitted to the luggage compartment floor. Other control units may be fitted, depending on the vehicle's equipment.

Construction 

The Telematic Control Unit (TCU) has a modular construction and is fitted with the following features:

How it works 

The TCU is connected to the MOST bus via the 2-pin connector. The 54-pin connector provides the connections to the vehicle electrical system, the base plate with snap-in adapter and the emergency call components.

The TCU provides the following functions:
