22 32 001 Replacing Rubber Mount For Transmission Mounting

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove complete exhaust system . See 00 EXHAUST SYSTEM COMPLETE .
Remove heat shield at rear.
Remove heat shield at front
Remove transmission underbody panelling
Observe safety instructions on raising the vehicle. See 00 ... ... RAISING VEHICLE WITH TROLLEY JACK .

Release crash pin.

Installation:

When fitting a new cross-member, the crash pin must also be replaced.

Screw head of crash pin must rest on transmission cross - member.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Release both rubber mount nuts on transmission.

Release screws (1) and remove transmission cross-member.
