51 47 490 Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Underbody Protection

Release expansion rivet (1).

Release screws (2) and then catches in area (A).

Remove underbody protection (3) towards rear.

Installation:

Ensure correct seating.

Center underbody protection (3) and secure.

Version With Bad Weather Package:

Release screws (1).

Release screws (2) and remove underbody protection (3) downwards

Installation:

Replace screws (2).

Tightening torque, refer to 31 10 9AZ in TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Replacement:

Release screws (1).

Release catches (2) and remove lip (3).
