51 16... Replacing cable connection for right or left sun visor

NOTE: If repairing, repair kit is required (BMW Parts Department 7 265 077).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

REMOVE SUN VISOR

Using a suitable tool, cut through retaining ring (1) and washer (2). Pull off cable connection (3).

Place cable terminal (1) on guide pin (2) and secure with clip (3). When doing so, press down clip (3) as far as possible.

IMPORTANT: Cable terminal (1) must be capable of twisting slightly on guide pin (2).
