51 32 390 Remove and install/replace frame trim on front left or right side window frame

Special tools required:

00 9 323

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open front side window
Remove SEAL FOR DOOR SEAM/ROOF FRAME
Remove REAR-VIEW MIRROR on front door

NOTE: Using special tool 00 9 323 , begin removing frame trim (1) at front (A) and detach at rear (B).

Pull off frame trim (1) in direction of arrow from clamps (2).

Installation note:

If necessary, replace faulty clamps (1 and 2) on frame trim (3).

Make sure clamps are installed in correct positions.
