Range check of temperature compensation signal

P113A, P113B

The built-in MAF sensor includes additionally a temperature compensation signal (drift compensation). This signal must lie within a valid range during all engine conditions.

If the period duration of the temperature compensation signal from the MAF sensor lies below the lower calibration limit for a calibrated period of time, a minimum fault KHFME is set.

If the period duration of the temperature compensation signal from the MAF sensor exceeds the upper calibration limit for a calibrated period of time, a maximum fault KHFME is set.
