61 31 033 Removing and installing/replacing light switch unit

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove finisher on left instrument panel trim  (See 51 16 ... REPLACING FINISHER ON LEFT INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM )

Release screws (1).

Disconnect internal plug connection; if necessary, remove instrument cluster.  (See 62 11 280 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) INSTRUMENT CLUSTER )

Pull out light switch unit (2) in direction of arrow and remove.
