51 16 ... Replacing finisher on left instrument panel trim
Special tools required:
- 00 9 340
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left fresh-air grille (See 64 22 135 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT FRESH-AIR GRILL )
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Painted trims are particularly sensitive to damage.
Lever out trim (2) with special tool 00 9 340 at mounting points (1) and remove. (See BODY EQUIPMENT - SPECIAL TOOLS article)
Installation:
Always provide trim (2) with new retainers.
