31 10 010 Removing And Installing/Replacing Reinforcement Plate

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove underbody protective plate  . See 51 47 490 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Release screws (1) and remove reinforcement plate.

Installation: 

Replace screws and insertion nuts.

Tightening torque. See FRONT AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA

Replacement: 

If applicable, remove heat shield.
