51 12 432 Replacing Central Body Molding On Rear Bumper

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 321 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove both side body moldings  . See 51 12 435 REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT BODY MOLDING FROM SIDES OF REAR BUMPER .

Unclip body molding (1) with special tool 00 9 321. 

Remove body molding (1) and if necessary disconnect plug connections.

Replacement: 

Version with PDC: 

Remove ultrasonic transducer.

Remove holder (1).

Version with Chromeline: 

Release catches (2) and remove chrome trim from body molding.
