51 49 006 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim For Rear Lid At Top

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove trim for rear lid at bottom.  . See 51 13 220 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING MIDDLE TRIM STRIP ON REAR LID .

Release screws (1 and 2).

Lever out retaining strap and remove tool box (3) in direction of arrow.

Release clips (1) and remove trim (2).

Installation: 

Following parts of trim (3) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Clips
2. Clip mountings
