51 16 ... Removing And Installing Storage Trays (Drawers) On Function Carrier

Removing top storage tray (drawer) from function carrier: 

Version with cordless keypad handset (telephone): 

If necessary, remove eject box (cordless keypad handset)  . See 84 11 610 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING EJECT BOX (CORDLESS KEYPAD HANDSET) .

Version without telephone: 

Unlock and open storage tray (drawer).

Detach drawer (4) from function carrier as follows:

• With a 1 mm feeler gauge (2)
• Release lock (3) by turning
• Pull storage tray towards rear out of function carrier and set down on protective cover (1)

Installation: 

Springs (1) must be correctly connected in mountings (2).

Catch (3) must not be damaged.

Removing bottom storage tray (drawer) from function carrier: 

Lever insert (2) in direction of arrow out of storage tray (3).

Installation: 

Following parts of insert (3) must not be damaged:

1. Guides
2. Catches

Press lock (1) downwards and pull out storage tray (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Lock (1) must not be damaged.

Installation: 

Spring (1) must be correctly connected in mounting (2).

Installation: 

Following parts of storage tray (4) must not be damaged:

1. Catch
2. Stop
3. Damper
