51 21 280 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Door Brake On Left Or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Close door windows
• Detach DOOR BRAKE FROM DOOR PILLAR 
• Remove function carrier

  See REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FUNCTION CARRIER ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR  or REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITH OR WITHOUT ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR 

Release screw (1) and remove door brake (2).

If necessary, detach seal (1).
