41 62 519 Left Or Right Hinge For Rear Lid Removal And Installation Or Replacement

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove and install panel for parcel shelf  . See 51 46 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR PARCEL SHELF .
• Remove and install gas-filled struts for rear lid  . See 51 24 300 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT GAS STRUT FOR REAR LID .
• Remove and install panel for rear lid at top  . See 51 49 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR LID AT TOP .
• Adjust rear lid lock  . See 51 24 004 ADJUSTING REAR LID LOCK (LOWER SECTION OF REAR LID LOCK) .

Observe specified gap dimensions  . See BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .

Release screw connections (1) on inner C-pillar.

Remove hinge.
