51 16 405 Removing and installing or replacing blind at side window of left or right rear door (up to 03/2007)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove rear door trim panel. See 51 42 000 Removing And Installing Left Or Right Rear Door Trim Panel .

Release screws (1 and 2) and remove roller sun blind (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Roller sun blind is modified.

Screws (1) are shortened. Door trim panel may be damaged with unshortened screws (1).
