Installation location  The bluetooth mobile phone is engaged in the snap-in adapter on the base plate.

NOTE: Approved bluetooth mobile phones
  • Information about bluetooth mobile phones approved by BMW is available from the BMW Parts Service. A compatibility matrix is available there.
  • The following bluetooth mobile phones are currently approved:
    • Siemens S55
    • Siemens S65
    • Sony Ericsson T610
    • Sony Ericsson T630
    • Nokia 6310i
    • Motorola V525
    • Motorola V600

How it works 

Each bluetooth mobile phone that corresponds to the bluetooth radio standard can be operated in a matching  snap-in adapter.

Once engaged in the snap-in adapter, the bluetooth mobile phone is connected to the ULF charge management circuit in the ULF control unit and to the GSM antenna (Global System for Mobile communication).
