64 22 161 Removing and installing/replacing center fresh-air grille

Special tools required:

Move actuator for center fresh-air grill (1) into illustrated position.

Turn control wheels for center fresh-air grill (2) in direction of arrow to zero position.

Release locks (1) with special tool 64 1 020 on left and right on center fresh-air grill (2).

If necessary, gently pretension center fresh-air grill (2) beforehand with special tool 00 9 341 so as to facilitate access to lock (1).

Lever out center fresh-air grill (2) with special tool 00 9 341 and remove in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Turn control wheels for center fresh-air grill (2) into zero position.

Feed guide (1) of center fresh-air grill (2) into mounting (3).

Make center fresh-air grill (2) is correctly seated.
