51 43 148 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim On Left Or Right Door Pillar (Top)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove PANEL FOR DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) 
• Remove DECORATIVE STRIP ON PANEL FOR DOOR PILLAR 
• Release SEATBELT SCREW ON SEAT BELT AT BOTTOM

Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).

Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.

Feed out seatbelt strap (3).

Installation: 

Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Guides
2. Belt finisher strip
3. Fixtures for expansion rivets
