51 42 030 Removing And Installing/Replacing Decorative Strip (Light Strip) On Left Or Right Door Trim (Rear)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Pull back foam section (1) over plug (2).

Unlock plug (2) and detach from light strip (3).

Release screws (4).

Installation: 

Tightening torque: 51 42 2AZ  . See REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL WITH ARMRESTS for specs.

Lever out decorative strip (1) at rear and front from door trim (2).

Installation: 

Slide light strip (3) in decorative strip (4) fully towards rear.

Following parts of decorative strip (4) must not be damaged:

1. Guides
2. Screw connections
3. Light strip
