Removal & Installation

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Position front seat fully forward and upward. Remove lower seat belt anchor bolt. Pull seat belt adjustment cable retainer rearward, unlock and pull retainer inward to remove. Lift seat belt adjustment cable forward and remove.
  3. Raise rear seat track finisher slightly on detent head. Unfasten and raise inner clip lugs. Pull finisher rearward and remove. Repeat for other rear seat track finisher. Disconnect under-seat electrical connectors and mark for installation reference.
  4. Remove rear seat track mounting bolts. Remove front seat track finishers. Remove front seat track mounting bolts. Carefully lift front seat from vehicle.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW seat track mounting bolts with micro-encapsulation or use Loctite® 270 on threads of old seat track mounting bolts. Tighten seat track mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
