Removal & Installation

Remove microfilter housing lower sections on left and right. See CABIN AIR FILTER . Remove engine compartment tension strut on spring strut dome. See TENSION STRUT . Unscrew bolt (1). Loosen screws (2). Turn quick-release fastener (3) approximately 90 degrees counterclockwise. If necessary, release screw on pipe clamp. Feed out fresh air duct (4) in direction of arrow and remove. If necessary, replace damaged seals. Make sure fresh air duct (4) is correctly seated. See Fig 1 .
