52 17 205 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Rear Panels On Left Or Right Front Seat Backrest (Long Version)

Rear panel upper section:

Reach between rear panel and backrest cover and unclip rear panel upper section.
Remove rear panel towards top.

Installation:

Engage rear panel correctly in guide.

Retainers must not be damaged and must be preinstalled.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Detach wiring harness retainers from rear panel.

Replacement only:

Release screws (1).

Remove monitor (2).

Unlock trim (3) with button and remove.

Rear panel trim lower section:

Reach between rear panel and backrest cover and unclip rear panel lower section.

Installation:

Retainers must not be damaged and must be preinstalled.

Only when replacing on passenger side:

Unlock seat adjustment switch (1) and remove.
