31 11 004 Removing and installing/replacing reinforcement brace

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove Front Assembly Underside Protection
• Remove Reinforcement Cover on both sides

Partly detach Underbody Panelling on both sides in area of reinforcement brace

Release screws (1).

Remove reinforcement brace (2).

Installation: 

Replace screws and insertion nuts.

For tightening torque refer to 31 10 2AZ in 31 10 FRONT AXLE SUSPENSION .
