Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove complete ceiling light (front)  See 63 31 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COMPLETE CEILING LIGHT (FRONT)

Lever out front console insert (1) in direction of arrow and remove.
