Removal (760Li)
- Press brake pedal several times to reduce vacuum pressure in brake booster. This makes it easier to remove PA pipe.
- Remove engine cover.
- Remove resonance elements on left and right.
- Release clamp (1) on microfilter air duct. See Figure. Press lock (3) and fold up complete microfilter air duct (4) in direction of arrow. Remove complete microfilter air duct (4) from fresh air duct (2).
- Remove screws and remove cover (1). See Figure. Detach non-return valve (2) from brake booster.
- Unfasten hose clip (1). See Fig 1. Disconnect plug connection (2). Detach holder (3) from vacuum line.
- Detach quick-connect coupling (1) on tank vent valves and line connection. See Fig 2. Unclip purge air line (3) from holder (2) and remove.
- Detach holder (1) and feed out vacuum line (2) by twisting upwards. See Fig 3.
