51 42 400 Removing and installing/replacing chest strip (chrome strip) on left or right rear door (with roller sun blind)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

Detach front chest strip (1) with special tool 00 9 317 in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Following parts of chest strip (4) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Surface
2. Aluminum insert for connecting flange
3. Sealing brush

Installation: 

Attach chest strip correctly to flange (1).

Detach rear chest strip (1) with special tool 00 9 317 in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Following parts of chest strip (3) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Surface
2. Aluminum insert for connecting flange
