65 77 720 Removing and installing/replacing left or right b-pillar sensor (from 09/2005)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove TRIM PANEL FOR DOOR PILLAR (bottom).

Release screw (1).

Slacken screw (2) and feed out B-pillar sensor in downward direction.

Tightening torque: 4.6 Nm

Installation:

Make sure centering pin (3) is correctly seated.

Replace screws (1 and 2).

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove B-pillar sensor.
