Removal & Installation

Remove rear wheel. See FRONT SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
If necessary, remove tank trim. See 16 11 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL TANK
Open plug housing (1). Pull plug connection for ABS pulse sensor out of fixture and disconnect. See Fig 1.
Open cable fasteners (1). Pull cable out of fasteners on rear swinging fork. See Fig 2.
Remove hexagon socket screw (1) and remove wheel pulse sensor (2) from bore. See Fig 3.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
Clean and lubricate hole for wheel pulse sensor with Staburags NBU 12/K or equivalent.
Tighten hexagon socket screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Tighten wheel lug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
